  I saw a few bad reviews but ive stayed. At the apex and people should remember that Its cheap accommodation by comparison. The facilities are great as far as shade, huge fully equipped kitchen and cool room as well as outdoor cooking and entertaining areas. There's a fully functional nice Hall for special events and a games entertainment common areas. Its like a camp usually is. The Apex is old true but it's clean and very affordanle. It has family units and single rooms in a dorm like set up. I think it has a great atmosphere..and Its close to the beach, all the shops, doctors, hotel and restaurants. Its in a Very convenient location.

  We were told by her that our music was too loud, we were disturbing the other campers and being disrespectful in general. Firstly, we were all very well behaved and yes we did have music on but we could barely hear it ourselves with the tiny portable speaker in the middle of our circle. Secondly, the other group of campers, on the other side of the camp, had loud music on and were loudly talking and yelling through the night but that apparently was ok? Maybe we didn't offer her a drink like they did. The language she used was offensive and rude (C bomb was dropped).

  The rooms were at clean with working heaters, tv, fridge etc. As long as you keep in mind that this place is budget accommodation, you won't be disappointed. The customer service was brilliant.

  The WORST place i have ever stayed with my kids. There were used condoms in the grass around the kids play area. No hot water in the girls shower. Then had some people blasting music full blast all night. I made many a call to camp management through the night but no answer. I listened through the night as people asked them to turn it down resulting in 2 punch ups. But 3am my kids were still scared and awake so packed up my tent and children and left a 3.30am.. would never go back or recommend this place. And they did not even offer me my money back.

  We stayed here a couple of years ago and had an excellent experience. Unfortunately, in the 2 years since myself and my friends were last here, the place has declined significantly. Not only have the facilities become much worse (last time there was a decent volleyball court and a spot for a fire, both of which have become nothing but messed up pits full of rubbish), but the service we experienced was abhorrent. The site "manager" was rude, aggressive and deceitful. Tried to tell us we were being too loud, when she herself was sitting and drinking with another group much louder than us. I will admit we were 15 people in a camp space, and having a good time, but when the only other residents of the whole site were a football club being louder than we were, with the site manager being part of it, I see no reason why we were harassed as much as we were. Not only that, but she told us we had to be quiet well before midnight because there were people staying in cottages which were quite clearly silent and empty (hence, the deceit). And then when we complained, she had the gall to LIE about conversations we had had when we first checked in. If you have taken the time to read this post, I IMPLORE you, stay somewhere else, and tell everyone you know to avoid this place. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

  My wife and I were in Jurien Bay from Perth for the day to do some work when our car broke down stranding us in town overnight. We were quite stressed and upset as we had two girls under 2 at home with family and have not been away from them both overnight. Sabrina the manager was a great help. Very friendly. She went out of our way to make sure that we were as comfortable as possible and did everything she could to relieve our stress. We very much appreciated her help.

  The actual campsite itself looks like it was built and cleaned once in the early 70s and it had been left to fend for itself since then. Everyone loves a large cockroach trying to climb your leg when using the facilities.
